He has been a Strategic Management Consultant with domain expertise in Food and Agribusiness, Agri Banking Sector and gives advisory services to Private and Public Clients on projects/initiatives varying from business plan formulation, partner search, organizational restructuring, policy planning and advocacy, financial advisory, etc.
Saranjit Singh
Dr. Saranjit Singh has over 25 years of experience in business consulting, basically in the field of manufacturing transformation. His research areas of interest are material processing technologies, metal forming of sintered, cellular, foam, polymer, and metal matrix composites, competitive manufacturing strategies, cleaner manufacturing technologies, DFX methodologies, quality engineering, and quality management. He has published/presented more than 100 research articles in international & national journals, conferences, and seminars. He has also published 3 books in the area of material processing technologies and is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India).
Kumar Mohanty
Kumar is a B.Tech graduate with PGDM from Xavier Institute Of Management, Bhubaneswar with more than 14 years of experience as a Marketing Manager with Nicco, then as Branch manager with Jenson and Nicholson and Finolex Cables as an AGM-Sales and as Business Head with IMS before joining KIIT as Director Corporate Relations. Now he’s working as Principal Consultant – Business Solutions at Kontempore.
Ashutosh Kar
In a career spanning more than a decade, he has served leading Indian and multinational organizations such as IBM and TCS with global work experience in countries such as Sweden and the United States. Areas of expertise include Strategic Account Planning, Presales / Business Development, Domain Practice, Advisory Relationships and Partnerships. He is a Regional Mathematics Olympiad Winner and also a recipient of the prestigious T. Thomas Scholarship for Business Leaders Award given by Hindustan Unilever Limited. Before joining Kontempore as a Consultant, he was working as a Senior Account Manager with Syntel India.
Prachet Bhuyan
Dr. Prachet Bhuyan completed his B.E in Computer Science & Engineering from Utkal University, Odisha, M.Tech with a specialization in Computer Science & Engineering from VTU, Belgaum, Karnataka. Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He served in various capacities from Lecturer to Head of the department at Vemana Institute of Technology, Bangalore over a decade. Also, he has served abroad at Caledonian College of Engineering (An affiliation of Glasgow Caledonian University), Muscat, Sultanate of Oman in teaching and research. He joined KIIT University in September 2007. He is also a member of the Industry Engagement Cell (IEC) of KIIT University and Government-recognized KIIT-TBI as an executive committee member of TDB. He has various significant publications to his credit in leading Journals indexed in Scopus and International conferences. He has co-authored a Book titled “BigData-A Primer”, published by Springer. His areas of research interest are Software Engineering, SOA, Software Testing, Soft computing, Grid Computing, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and IoT. He has been a member of various technical organizations like IEEE, IET, ISTE, and ISC and he is a member of ISAET (International Scientific Academy of Engineering & Technology) in its Scientific Technical Committee and Editorial Board on Engineering and Technology. He has successfully guided many industry-based students’ projects in collaboration with Microsoft, SAP Lab, Novell, IBM, Preva Systems, Unisys, and Cognizant. Guided 11 M.Tech thesis, many B.Tech projects and Ph.D. thesis. He is active in consultancies and project guidance on various domains using IoT, such as projects in smart cities, smart homes, green buildings, smart greenhouses, smart municipalities, smart health care, and smart vehicle pollution control to name a few. He is a member of industry engagements spearheading industry-academia activities.
Joydeep Biswas
Joydeep has close to 18 years of industry experience in premier companies like ITC, Nokia and IBM. He has worked in domains of Sales, Distribution Management, Brand Marketing and CRM. His experience spans across industries like FMCG foods, tobacco, mobile devices and IT services. Joydeep was a recipient of academic merit scholarship by Provident Fund of India at IIT BHU. He’s an alumnus from XLRI and is doing his PhD on Tourism & Consumer Behaviour.
